- BPCL has two refineries in India-one in Mumbai and one in Kochi, whose combined refining capacity is 19.5 MMTPA.
- BPCL has a vast marketing network for
direct and retail sale of Motor Spirit, High Speed Diesel, Superior
Kerosene Oil, Light Diesel Oil, Lubricating Oils, Liquefied
Petroleum Gas, Aviation Turbine Fuel and other petroleum products
as also Convenience Stores from which items of daily necessity
are being sold.
- BPCL has its registered office at Bharat
Bhavan, 4 & 6 Currimbhoy Road, Ballard Estate, Mumbai 400
001 and Area Offices manned by ACPIOs in each state. Locations
and addresses can be seen under the ACPIO list.
- BPCL has one subsidiary Company (managed
by the Board of Directors of the respective Companies), namely
- Numaligarh Refinery Ltd., having a refinery at Numaligarh, District Golaghat, Assam and refining capacity of 3 MMTPA and a relatively small marketing set up for sale of their product in the retail market, apart from marketing the product directly to the customers.

Act, consisting of Government of India nominees and independent
Directors.

The day-to-day activities of BPCL are
managed under the leadership of the Board of Directors assisted
by the in-charge of the respective departments.

Detailed execution of the job is being
done under the leadership of the in-charge of the respective
departments.

committee or forum where representatives of the public can
attend to formulate policies for refining and marketing petroleum
products and/or implement such policies.

BPCL, however, collects customers’
feedback by various modes of communication and carries on
its business by satisfying various customers needs in the
business interest of BPCL.
