BPCL Commissions First LPG Bottling Plant in North-East India at Matia, Assam

BPCL has successfully commissioned the Matia LPG Bottling Plant in Goalpara, Assam, marking its first LPG bottling facility in Assam and the North-East region. The inauguration was graced by Smt. Darshana Chetia, Additional District Commissioner, Goalpara, alongside BPCL dignitaries Shri Subhankar Sen, Director (Marketing); Shri Dinabandhu Mandal, Executive Director (Engineering & Projects); and Shri T. V. Pandiyan, Business Head (LPG). Commencing commercial operations with the flag-off of its first packed LPG truck, the plant is set to serve nearly half a million consumers, significantly strengthening LPG availability and supply infrastructure across the region.
