PSPB Tennis - Gold, Silver and Bronze
The 43rd PSPB Inter-Unit Tennis Tournament concluded on 30th November 2024 at Deccan Gymkhana,
Pune, showcasing exceptional talent and sportsmanship. The highlight of the tournament was BPCL’s strong
performance across multiple categories. Ms. Vaishnavi Adkar, a BPCL scholarship player, clinched the Women’s
Singles title by defeating Ms. Riya Bhatia (IOCL) and was named Best Player in the Women’s category.

In the Veterans’ events, Mr. Rajkumar Dubey (Director HR, BPCL) delivered a commanding performance,
winning both the Singles and Doubles titles—teaming up with Mr. Munesh Sharma in the latter. Mr. Dubey was
also named Player of the Tournament in the Veterans’ category for his composure, skill, and strategic play.
Though ONGC secured the Veteran Team title, BPCL’s overall performance stood out in the tournament.

The closing ceremony was graced by dignitaries including Mr. Rama Krishna Vetsa Gupta (Director Finance),
former Davis Cup coach Mr. Nandan Bal, Mr. D. Parthasarathy (CGM HRS), and Mr. Deepak Jain (GM Sports HRS),
who felicitated the winners with trophies and medals.
