SWACHHTA PAKHWADA 1ST - 15TH JULY 2021
Shri Arun Singh, Director (Marketing) & Director (Refineries) and Shri N. Vijayagopal, Director (Finance) launches the Swachhta Pakhwada 2021 by administering Swachhta Pledge to employees of BPCL, across the country.
Team Nellore, Andhra Pradesh took the Swacchta Pakhwadha Pledge at their EP site with contract staff Forming a Human Chain, to maximize the participation of the employees and to motivate them towards making India Clean!
Slogan contest based on Swacchta in times of COVID was arranged in Chennai, Tamil Nadu for PCVO crew, contract workmen, security staff and company employees in numerous languages. More than 50 people participated in the competition.
Cleanliness drive led by Head Retail North to remove the waste around Northern Region Office. The site has been cleaned and tree plantation has also been carried out at the same location. Around 25 persons participated in the activity.
On the 5th day of Swachhta Pakhwada, BPCL Mumbai Refinery partnered with a social welfare organization and installed Water Purifiers cum Coolers, in 25 schools of Mumbai Municipality, to make clean drinking water available for students.
Western Region, HRS conducted Awareness talk on Menstrual Hygiene for women of Kalyan Pisavali Village, Mumbai. The session conducted was on Women’s health. The main focus was on Hygiene habits, Maintaining Physical and Mental health during the menstruation. After the session Sanitary Napkis were distributed to the women, to encourage them to use.
Women in tribal cluster of Poovabchira and Maniankinar in Thrissur, Kerala were disseminated Training on stitching Cloth mask. This vocational training initiative is taken by Kochi Refinery.
To motivate the students of Government school of Ahmedabad, Gujarat regarding cleanliness, a drawing competition was conducted, in which 28 students took part and created their art peice on the theme of Cleanliness.
