Sustainable Development Goals – For Harmonious Growth

The path that leads to a congenial blending of growth with societal and environmental goals is the path of sustainability.
Anchored firmly to the bedrock of sustainability, the corporate philosophy of Bharat Petroleum is aligned with the seventeen U.N. Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).

HARMONIOUS GROWTH

Goal 1: No Poverty

Equitable growth is one of the pillars of sustainable development. Providing training and employment opportunities to marginalized people of the society, especially the underprivileged youth, creates a warmth of hope in their heart and helps them walk the path of socio-economic advancement – from the gloomy fringe to the economic mainstream.

  1. Providing employment to about 40,000 people annually.
