Payment of unclaimed dividend through electronic mode


Check the Unclaimed & Unpaid Dividends lying with BPCL, investors are requested to input the following details pertaining to their shareholding:

NSDL - 8 alphanumeric DP ID and 8 digit client ID (Eg: IN3000001000000) CDSL - 16 digit client ID (Eg: 1200000000000000)




Kindly note that as per Section 124(5) of the Companies Act, 2013, the dividend amount remaining unclaimed for 7 years, is required to be transferred to the Investor Education & Protection Fund (IEPF) constituted by Government of India.


Further, as per section 124(6) of the Companies Act, 2013 read with rules made thereunder, provide that all shares in respect of which dividend has not been paid or claimed for Seven consecutive years or more shall be transferred by the Company to the demat accoun of the IEPF authority


Shareholders are requested to follow the above mentioned procedure for claiming their unclaimed dividend.

Pursuant to the applicable provisions of the Companies Act, 2013, read with Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (Accounting, Audit, Transfer and Refund) Rules, 2016 ('the Rules'), all unpaid or unclaimed dividends are required to be transferred by the Company to the IEPF established by the Central Government, after the completion of seven years. Accordingly the unpaid / unclaimed dividends lying with the BPCL would be due for transfer to IEPF as per details given below.
