PSPB Hockey - Gold after 11 Years
BPCL’s Hockey team clinched the Gold
medal at the PSPB Hockey Championship
in Dehradun, defeating IOC 3–1 in the final.
The win was especially commendable
as the team played without their regular
squad, instead fielding former BPCL
stalwarts—a testament to the company’s
strong sporting legacy and resilient spirit.
This was among BPCL’s many gold-
medal victories this year, reaffirming its
dominance at PSPB tournaments. Adding
to the glory, Chirag was named Best
Defender of the Tournament, while Vishal
Pandey received the Best Promising Player
award for his outstanding performance.

PSPB Chess - Silver
BPCL’s Chess team made their mark at
the PSPB Chess Championship held in
Vadodara, securing the Silver Medal. The
team comprised grandmasters Abhijeet
Gupta, Vaibhav Suri, M.R. Venkatesh, and
G.N. Gopal, showcasing world-class skill
and strategy. A special shout-out goes
to Abhijeet Gupta and Vaibhav Suri for
winning individual board prizes, further
highlighting BPCL’s dominance on the
board.

PSPB Cricket - Silver

At the 43 PSPB Cricket Championship,
BPCL emerged as the Runner-up after a
series of thrilling performances. The team
played with heart and resilience. Special
accolades went to Akhil Herwadkar, who
was named Best Batsman, and Parth
Ankolekar, who took home the Best
Bowler award. Their contributions were
instrumental in BPCL’s success story on
the pitch.
