Kuldeep Yadav, Shivam Dube & Dhawal

Kulkarni felicitated

Kuldeep Yadav, India’s premier left-arm wrist spinner and a proud member of the BPCL family, was felicitated at the
Chairman’s Office on June 5, 2025, following his exceptional performance in India’s victorious T20 World Cup campaign.
Known for his sharp turn and match-winning spells, Kuldeep played a key role in India’s bowling attack and was
instrumental in turning games around at crucial moments.
He was warmly welcomed by Director (Finance) Mr. V. R. K. Gupta and CGM (Sports) Mr. Deepak Jain, who applauded
his consistent contributions to Indian cricket, not only during the T20 World Cup, but also across tournaments like the
Champions Trophy and the 50-over World Cup. Fondly referred to as the “lucky charm” of the Indian team, Kuldeep’s
presence has often brought balance, control, and breakthroughs to the squad.
During the interaction, Kuldeep shared reflections on his journey, speaking about the importance of discipline, mental
preparation, and a positive team environment. He credited much of his steady growth to the support system around
him, especially BPCL, which he thanked wholeheartedly for standing by him through both highs and lows. His message,
filled with humility and insight, left a strong impression on everyone present, especially young athletes and employees,
who found inspiration in his words.
He also spoke about how representing India on the global stage is not just a matter of pride, but a responsibility, one that
requires constant self-work, resilience, and the ability to keep evolving with the game. His words served as a reminder
that success is measured not just in trophies, but in the journey that leads to them.
BPCL’s senior leadership in attendance echoed their admiration for Kuldeep’s sportsmanship and character. The
felicitation ceremony concluded with a heartfelt round of applause, photographs, and personal interactions that made
the moment memorable. As Kuldeep prepares for the upcoming England tour, his words continue to inspire the BPCL
