Shivanand Lakra (Hockey)
Shivanand Lakra has been named
to the Indian squad for the 2024-25
Men’s FIH Pro League, the International
Hockey Federation’s elite nine-nation
circuit featuring Argentina, Australia,
Belgium, England, Germany, India,
Ireland, the Netherlands and Spain. His
selection places a BPCL athlete on world
hockey’s biggest annual stage and
reinforces the Corporation’s growing
presence in top-tier sport.

K Satish Kumar (Badminton)
BPCL’s K. Satish Kumar added another
golden chapter to his sporting journey
by clinching the Gold Medal at the
Yonex Sunrise Guwahati Masters Super
100, held from December 3 to 8 2024 in
Guwahati, Assam. Competing against
top international shuttlers, Satish
showcased remarkable grit, speed, and
court intelligence.
His win not only marks a personal
milestone but also elevates BPCL’s
presence in the national badminton
landscape. This victory stands as
a testament to his unwavering
commitment and the sporting culture
nurtured within the organization.
