MC²+ IGNITE Launched at IIT Madras to Fuel Energy Sector Innovation

MC²+ IGNITE was officially launched at IIT Madras to build a stronger innovation ecosystem for India's energy sector. Attended by Petroleum Secretary Shri Neeraj Mittal and BPCL CMD Shri Sanjay Khanna along with leaders from India’s Oil & Gas sector and the innovation ecosystem, the initiative unites energy PSUs, academia, and deep-tech startups. MC² is a common platform to bring together the problem statements, expertise, mentorship, funding and market access of India’s Oil & Gas PSUs, while creating a direct interface with leading academic and research institutions and deep-tech startups. The platform provides problem statements, mentorship, funding, and market access to scale next-generation energy technologies from incubation to commercialization.
