BPCL’s Project Pragati Trains 10,000 Mechanics Nationwide in BS6 Technology

BPCL’s CSR initiative, Project Pragati, celebrated a milestone by felicitating 11 mechanics representing 10,000 trainees across 22 states and 2 Union Territories in the presence of Shri H. D. Kumaraswamy, Union Minister of Heavy Industries. Executed in partnership with the Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC), the program provides hands-on training in BS6 engine technology, OBD diagnostics, vehicle electricals, and business development. Jointly certified by ASDC and BPCL, the program equips automotive service technicians with future-ready skills to build sustainable livelihoods and foster a self-reliant workforce.
