Meet Nimit Upadhyay, Senior Manager, ROU, Vadinar–Bina Pipeline (VBPL) and a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Madan Mohan Malaviya Engineering College, Gorakhpur. Since joining BPCL as an Operations Officer in 2014, he has strengthened his technical and managerial capabilities while also pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration in Operations Management from Symbiosis Center of Distance Learning, reflecting his commitment to continuous learning.
Over the years, he has contributed to key operational and project initiatives that required precision, coordination, and teamwork. His experience at pump stations and now at Rajkot includes working on strategically important HDD-based river crossing projects, reinforcing safe and reliable execution.
For Nimit, leadership is about building resilient teams, prioritising safety and embracing challenges as opportunities to grow. His journey reflects the quiet determination that strengthens BPCL’s infrastructure and supports the nation’s energy security.
