Meet Rohit Lihite, Senior Manager (IS), BPCL, whose journey reflects the strength of blending field experience with digital innovation. A Mechanical Engineering graduate from Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli, Rohit began his career in 2012 at BPCL’s Piyala Installation, where he managed logistics, gantry operations, and inventory, building a strong foundation in operational excellence. He later transitioned to the ERP Competency Centre and now works on demand planning and supply network optimisation for the Lubricants and LPG businesses.
Leveraging his operational insights, Rohit developed optimisation tools used for tender evaluation and network planning, and created RITA, an application that automates bulk LPG logistics. His journey reflects BPCL’s commitment to enabling people to grow, innovate, and drive transformation.
