Capt. U. Narasimha Rao joined BPCL as a young officer, and with the company encouraging his aspirations, he went on to become both a professional and a soldier.

A B.Tech Gold Medalist from JNTU Hyderabad and an MBA (Strategy & Consulting) from BITS Pilani, Capt. Rao has grown through diverse roles in Mechanical & Civil Maintenance, Pipeline Operations, ROU, Cathodic Protection, and Pipeline Projects. Taking on an added responsibility in service of the nation, he also serves as a Captain in the Territorial Army, earning recognition from the Chief of Defence Staff for his exemplary performance.

At BPCL, he found the opportunity and challenges to explore, experiment, and excel — a journey that saw him win Gold Medals from IIT Kanpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Roorkee, and IIT Kharagpur in fields ranging from Corrosion Management and Cathodic Protection to Project Management and Industrial Safety Engineering.
