Meet Shreyas Kumar, Executive (Biofuels), HQ, BPCL, who is an engineer by training, a researcher by curiosity and a creative at heart.
A Mechanical Engineering graduate from NIT Silchar, Shreyas joined BPCL in July 2023. Since then, he has contributed to CBG projects and initiatives such as SATAT and GOBARdhan, co-authored research published by IFGE and Springer, and represented India at EUBCE 2026 in The Hague, Netherlands.
But Shreyas’ curiosity extends beyond work. A published poet featured in Afterlife (2021), a winner of national poetry competitions, and a singer appreciated by Coke Studio India in 2023, he was also selected for the 50th National Mathematics Conference in 2015 and actively volunteered during college.
At BPCL, he continues to bring that same spirit to his work by questioning, exploring, innovating and turning ideas into impact.
