Empowering the Mind Behind the Game
Webinar conducted on May 8, 2025 | 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM
As part of BPCL’s continuous efforts to foster
mental well-being and high performance among
sportspersons and employees, the Sports (HRS) team
conducted an insightful session titled “ActivLife:
Wellness Within” on May 8, 2025. The webinar was
led by Dr. Dinika S. More, a seasoned expert in Sports
Psychology and founder of DMINDZ SPORTS, with over
13 years of experience in athlete mental conditioning.
With the theme “Sportsperson, Rise Strong,
Conquer Fear”, the session focused on real-world
psychological strategies tailored for athletes and
high-performing individuals. Dr. More addressed key
topics such as:
Managing performance anxiety before
competitions
Strengthening self-belief and confidence
Techniques to handle failure and build mental
resilience
Preventing burnout for long-term, consistent
performance
Her practical techniques and real-life case studies
helped attendees explore the inner dynamics of
mindset, preparation, and emotional recovery,
making the webinar both relatable and actionable.
Dr. More, a certified expert from NSNIS Patiala and
Loughborough University (UK), brought clarity and
depth to the conversation, inspiring participants
to approach performance through the lens of
psychological strength.
The session was well-received, with attendees
appreciating the tools shared to overcome mental
blocks and elevate their game, both on and off the
field.
The webinar also sparked valuable conversations
around the often-overlooked role of mental
health in athletic and professional excellence.
It marked another meaningful step by BPCL toward
holistic wellness, reinforcing the belief that true
performance begins from within.
