         Summer Sports That Spark Growth & Grit





         This summer, BPCL turned up the energy across its colonies with thoughtfully curated sports camps, designed not just to
         train young minds in the mechanics of sport, but to instill discipline, confidence, and camaraderie. BPCL’s camps across
         regions nurtured talent with fun, fitness, and fundamentals, on the field and beyond.























           Cricket Summer Camp – Mumbai Refinery
           From May 12 to May 24, 2025, the Refinery Sports Club buzzed with energy as HRS West hosted its Cricket Summer
           Camp for children aged 8 to 18. With 35 participants and expert coaches, the camp blended technical training with
           character-building, from batting drills and match simulations to teamwork and focus exercises.
           Inaugurated by Shri Abhai Raj Singh Bhandari, Executive Director Mumbai Refinery, the camp emphasized discipline,
           sportsmanship, and structured outdoor play. The closing ceremony, graced by leaders including Shri Sanjay Kumar
           Choubey, Shri Kumar Nandan Singh, and Shri Subrata Saha, featured personalized feedback sessions with parents,
           a thoughtful touch that made the experience more impactful.


          SMASH HIT
         Badminton Summer Camp – Gokuldham, WR
         HRS West hosted the Shuttle Summer Camp at Gokuldham this summer,
         creating an energetic space where children aged 8 to 18 explored the
         art and discipline of badminton. With over 25 enthusiastic participants,
         the courts came alive with movement, focus, and budding talent.

         The  camp,  led  by  experienced  coaches,  helped  participants  build
         strong foundations, from grip and posture to rally strategy and
         footwork. Alongside technical training, the camp encouraged
         teamwork, resilience, and self-discipline, making it an all-round growth
         experience.
          Inaugurated in the presence of Shri Sundaravadhanan R - Head (BPEC),
         Shri Deepak Jain CGM (Sports) CO, Shri Subrata Saha Head (HRS) West,
         Shri N Meganathan DGM (HRS) CO and other HRS leaders, the camp
         concluded with a closing session attended by Shri Kunwar Ajit Mohan
         Singh, General Manager (Legal), HQ.
         The program was designed to evolve children’s interest from casual
         play to competitive readiness, with feedback mechanisms, skill-based
         categorization, and encouragement for continued practice beyond
         the camp.
